Based on the Novel Carrie by Stephen King, Carrie is a musical written by Lawrence D. Cohen with lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and music by Michael Gore. Carrie tells the story of a telekinetic teenage girl who struggles with bullying at school and an overbearing religious fanatic mother. When she attends her high school prom and is publicly humiliated by her classmates Carrie wreaks havoc on everyone and everything in her path.
